Technology Initiative Grants 2003

LSC is pleased to announce the 2003 round of the Legal Services Corporation Technology Initiative Grants. The primary purpose of the Technology Initiative Grants is to promote full access and high-quality legal representation through the use of technology. LSC has approximately $3.4 million to grant for technology projects during this grant cycle. Technology Initiative Grants are available only to LSC grantees.

NOTICE TO EXISTING TIG GRANTEES: You are eligible to apply for funding in the 2003 round for new projects or to supplement or expand your existing projects.

The online application system for the 2003 TIG grant submissions is now closed.

Please Read the Guidelines Before You Begin

Guidelines for Electronic Submissions:

Please note that you must submit parts of your application electronically as well as in hard copy. Instructions for hard copy submissions may be found in the Guidelines for Preparing Applications.

  • Logging In - The first step to using the Electronic Submissions Web Site is to log into the site. The link to this page may be found at the end of these instructions. Please read all of these instructions before logging in.

  • Username and Password - You user name is your grantee number and your password is the same one you use to submit your basic field grants and CSR information to LSC.

  • TIG Number - We have preassigned four TIG numbers for each grantee. When you login, you will see these number. Choose one of the four numbers to use for each grant submitted.

  • Updating your Electronic Submission information - If you do not complete the submission process in one session, you may return to complete or modify your submission at any time prior to the submission deadline. You must enter your username and password each time you use the system to have access to your application. Anyone with access to your username and password can access your application, so treat this information as you do all other confidential information.

  • Saving and Submitting your Application - After completing each section of the Application you will have two options: Save and Submit. Saving the portion of the Application allows you to return and edit your data. If you click the Submit button that portion of the Application will be locked and you will not be able to make changes to it.
    Please remember to print hard copies of every section of your Application before submitting so that you can include them with the paper copy of your Application.
